How to play Mindset Go!
It’s not just about putting similar things together. It’s about putting every shape exactly where the rules say it belongs.
Every shape that satisfies a circle’s rule must be inside that circle. Shapes that do not satisfy it must stay outside it.
Start in the original game
Use Play Mindset Go! to load Magicave’s browser game. Follow the introduction and the instructions shown by the game. This companion does not replace the original game’s menus, difficulty progression or daily challenges.
Magicave describes Mindset as observation-and-logic puzzles built around sorting shapes into sets. The presentation can change between themed shape sets, so inspect the actual properties of the pieces rather than assuming every puzzle uses the same colors or symbols.
Look for a rule, not a familiar-looking group
Examine the whole board before you move anything. Compare color, shape, fill and any other visible feature the current set uses. Ask which property could explain an entire circle—not just two or three convenient pieces.
For a simple teaching example, imagine a circle with the rule blue. A blue square and a blue circle both belong inside, even though their outlines differ. A coral triangle does not belong there.
“All” is the important word
Check both directions: every shape inside must fit, and every matching shape outside must move inside. Finding one blue shape outside disproves an arrangement that claims to have collected all blue shapes.
The developer explicitly clarifies this point in replies on Google Play. A group can look reasonable yet fail because a matching piece was left over. Before assuming the game rejected another valid answer, inspect every leftover piece.
What belongs in the overlap?
Where circles overlap, apply their rules together. In our example with A = blue and B = triangles, a blue triangle belongs in both circles at once. A blue square belongs in A only. A coral triangle belongs in B only. A gold circle belongs outside both.

A practical solving routine
- Observe the full set of shapes, including pieces outside every circle.
- Form a candidate rule for one circle and test every shape against it.
- Repeat for the remaining circles, checking shared regions carefully.
- Before checking your answer, scan the unused pieces one final time.
Use the controls and instructions presented inside the original game to move and check pieces. On a touch device, use your finger; on desktop, use the pointer. The independent Rule Lab uses a simpler tap-a-shape, then tap-a-region interface so you can focus on understanding rather than dragging.
